Hi, my name is Ram Krishnan and this is my personal site. I'm a professional software developer with over 30 years experience building commercial and open source software.
I have a particular fondness for and proficiency in the Lisp family of programming languages. I've been fortunate to have worked as a Lisp programmer for most of my career. I started with Emacs Lisp, Scheme, and Common Lisp and since 2009 I've been working in Clojure.
I'm not particularly dogmatic about programming languages and I've also written software in Smalltalk, Erlang, C/Objective-C, JavaScript and Java - but, given the opportunity I do gravitate to Lisp and functional programming in general.
I blog occasionally about Lisp, programming or anything else that I've learned.
